One of the most celebrated festivals among married women in India, Karwa Chauth is being marked on Wednesday, 1 November. On this day, married women observe fasts for their husbands with a lot of devotion, love and commitment.
Amid all the festivities in the year, a lot of Bollywood couples are also set to celebrate their first Karwa Chauth this time, while many others will continue their annual traditions on the occasion. In light of this, Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu was seen recalling her first Karva Chauth. She shared a few throwback pictures, expressing her love for her husband.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Bipasha Basu shared pictures from their first Karwa Chauth, looking all cheerful and happy as they decked up for the festival. While the actress can be seen dressed in a pink-coloured suit, Karan Singh Grover was dressed in a white ethnic outfit. They could be seen posing for a selfie, while in another, Karan gave a kiss on Bipasha’s cheek.
Extending Karwa Chauth wishes to all in the post dedicated to her husband, she wrote, “Our first Karwa Chauth post our wedding. Time has flown by so fast. My love and prayers for you have only gotten stronger and stronger each year. You are my person, my forever, my heart, my life, my everything. Monkeylove forever. Happy Karwa Chauth to all.”

Bipasha-Karan relationship timeline
After having dated for some time and working in the 2015 film Alone, Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover got married in April 2016. Later that year, they celebrated their first Karwa Chauth, pictures of which were shared on the actress’ social media handle.
Recently, they welcomed their first born, daughter Devi in November last year. Since then, the two have been sharing a lot of quality time together with the newest member of the family. Bipasha often shares glimpses of her moment with her little daughter. Being a newbie mother, it is expected that Bipasha won’t be keeping a fast on this Karwa Chauth.
