The sci-fi film Deepika portrays the character of pregnant women, believed to be Kalki’s offspring and referred to as SUM-80, or Maa in the native language Telugu. Amitabh Bachchan, cast as Aswatthama, pledges to protect her unborn child from the clutches of Supreme Yaskin/Kali, played by Kamal Haasan.
