Shah Rukh Khan films are not only massively mounted but massively budgeted too. Almost all his films are priced between 150-200 crores and sometimes even more, like Jawan and Pathaan. However, with his last release of 2023, Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. A report by Pinkvilla states this is Khan’s lowest budgeted film in six years.

The report says the film is made at Rs 85 crore, excluding the fee charged by the cast and crew. Hirani shot the film for 75 days out of which Khan shot for 60.

The last time SRK’s film fell under Rs 100 crore in its budget was Imtiaz Ali’s 2017 dud Jab Harry Met Sejal, reportedly budgeted at Rs 90 crore, and making only Rs 63 crore at the box-office.

The makers of Dunki have kick-started the musical journey of Rajkumar Hirani’s directorial by unveiling the Dunki Drop 2 – Lutt Putt Gaya, the first heart-warming melody from the film. The song opens up the chapter of Hardy when he falls for Manu as she stands up for him against the world. Watch him as his feelings for Manu transform him into a hopeless romantic.

Shah Rukh Khan, whose last action-thriller Jawan earned over Rs 1000 crore at the global box office, is gearing up for his next, Dunki. Recently, King Khan got some free time to organise another round of ‘Ask SRK’. On Wednesday, as part of the conversation on X, his fans asked him several questions. Just like always, Bollywood’s Baadshah had his witty answers ready for them all.

During one such question about his next release, SRK was asked “How is Dunki shaping up sir ji?” To which, the Jawan star said that the Rajkumar Hirani film is “done and very beautiful. A little like life itself!!”
