Actor-turned-politician, Joseph Vijay popularly known as Thalapathy is currently working on his upcoming sci-fi film, The Greatest of All Time shortly known as GOAT. It is considered that this is Vijay’s second last film before he heads on to become a full-time politician. There are quite a lot of developments there are happening in Venkat Prabhu’s GOAT. Fresh speculations are at rife that legendary Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni along with the IPL team, Chennai Super Kings might make a short cameo in the recently released, Whistle Podu song. Thalapathy Vijay and MS Dhoni To Collaborate In Whistle Podu Song?

During a candid conversation of actor Ajmal with SS Music’s YouTube channel, the actor was asked if could shed some light on CSK players and MS Dhoni to feature in a short cameo in the recently released number, ‘Whistle Podu.’ Although Ajmal decided not to speak a word on the update. However, multiple media reports have speculated that CSK cricketers may make a special appearance in Yuvan Shankar’s number, it was interesting to note that the actor did not deny the rumours about the same.

Since Ajmal didn’t reject the rumours, it is possible that Venkat Prabhu might give his best shot, in bringing Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Thalapathy Vijay together. It is worth noting that,  MS Dhoni and the CSK franchise are more than a cricket team for the people of Tamil Nadu. While there have been several nicknames the CSK cricketers have gotten like MS is known as ‘Thala’ former Indian cricketer  Suresh Raina is often referred to as ‘Chinna Thala’. Current CSK skipper Rurturaj Gaikwad is popularly known as ‘Rocket Raja’.

Meanwhile, when the first single release of  GOAT was shared on YouTube, Ajmal was seen sharing screens with Thalapathy, Dancing legend Prabhu Deva. In the interview, Ajmal assured that Venkat Prabhu’s upcoming film will be loaded with ‘sentiment, action and fun’. The actor confirmed that the second single will be a romantic song which is expected to drop anywhere between in the month of June.

Currently, Joseph Vijay is looking forward to completing his highly anticipated sci-fi film GOAT, helmed by Venkat Prabhu. The movie boasts a star-studded cast including Mohan, Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Sneha, Laila, Jayaram, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Yogi Babu. Yuvan Shankar Raja composes the music, with Siddhartha Nuni behind the cinematography and Venkat Raajen on editing duties. The film is slated for a worldwide release on September 5, 2024.
