Sanjeeda Breaks Silence About Her Divorce
Actors Sanjeeda Sheikh and Aamir Ali became parents to their daughter Ayra through surrogacy. Following their divorce, Sanjeeda received primary custody of Ayra. In a recent interview, Sanjeeda opened up about facing challenges in her personal life. She elaborated (without going into specifics) that this period was difficult for her.
The Heeramandi actress added, “I am not somebody who would talk about every small thing on social media or call the media home and talk about what is happening in my life. I have my people to talk about; I don’t need cameras for that. I have my family: my mother, my brother, and my daughter. My daughter is too young, but today, she is a four-year-old who understands everything. My child has been a blessing in my life and has given me so much strength (sic).”
Sanjeeda went on to mention her mother’s unwavering support during her difficult divorce. She expressed her gratitude for her mother’s strength, which in turn helped her navigate this challenging time. The Heeramandi actress expressed, “My mother is a very strong lady, she has a voice of her own and she has done stuff in her life. She is not worried about what the world is saying. She always says take decision for yourself, and your child and that is what I did. I am extremely proud of myself (sic).”
