After their success in the Asia Cup 2023, the Indian team will now take on Australia in a 3-match ODI series. This will be the perfect opportunity for the players to put in one final audition before the ICC Cricket World Cup starts next month. For this series, India have announced two squads against the five-time world champions, Australia. In the first two ODIs against Australia, India will be without the services of their captain, Rohit Sharma, vice-captain Hardik Pandya, the batting mainstay Virat Kohli, and the currently in-form spinner Kuldeep Yadav.

However, they have included experienced spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and the off-spinning all-rounder Washington Sundar for the three-match series. Notably, all-rounder Axar Patel, who sustained an injury during the Asia Cup, is included in the squad exclusively for the third ODI. His participation in the match will be depend upon his match fitness.

India vs Australia, ODI series 2023 full schedule:

  • IND vs AUS, 1st ODI – Friday, 22 September, Mohali
  • IND vs AUS, 2nd ODI – Sunday, 24 September, Indore
  • IND vs AUS, 3rd ODI – Wednesday, 27 September, Rajkot

JioCinema and Sports18 have bagged the rights for all India home games and hence, all three ODIs of the India vs Australia series will be available for a live stream on JioCinema. These matches will start at 1:30 PM IST.

The India vs Australia ODI series will be telecast live on Sports18 channel in India.

In the absence of Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul will lead India in the first couple of matches. All the big guns will be back for the final match of the series. Young players like Ruturaj Gaikwad and Tilak Varma have been included in the squad for the first couple of matches.
