India vs Australia, World Cup Final: 'This hurts', Fans stunned by Virat Kohli's dismissal for 54

India suffered a major setback during their 2023 Cricket World Cup final against Australia in Ahmedabad on Sunday, after Virat Kohli was dismissed for 54 by Pat Cummins.

Kohli was cleaned up by Cummins in the 29^th over while looking to defend, but ended up chopping onto the stumps.

Kohli had forged a 67-run stand with KL Rahul for the fourth wicket. He came into match on the back of a fine run of form, having scored 711 runs from 10 matches prior to this game, including three centuries and six fifties.

At the time of writing this report, India were 158/4 after 31 overs, with KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja in the middle.

Netizens were disappointed by the way Kohli got out, with some of them even losing hopes of India possibly lifting the World Cup trophy.
