India vs New Zealand 3rd T20I: Mohammed Siraj, Arshdeep Singh dismantle hosts’ batting with fiery pace
India pacers Mohammed Siraj, and Arshdeep Singh produced a superb show with the ball to bowl out New Zealand for 160 in 19.4 overs after the hosts opted to bat first at McLean Park in Napier on Tuesday.
Siraj (4/17) and Arshdeep (4/37) shared eight wickets between them to restrict the Black Caps from setting a huge target which once looked like an easy task for the hosts.
New Zealand were going strong at 130 for two in the 16th over but the duo of Arshdeep and Siraj led a remarkable comeback to end the Kiwi innings with two balls to spare. The hosts lost eight wickets for just 30 runs after Devon Conway (59 off 49 balls) and Glenn Phillips (54 off 33) had propped up their innings.
