That brings us to the end of our coverage of the highly-anticipated ICC World Cup showdown between India and Pakistan at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, with the Men in Blue emerging victorious once again against their arch-rivals to not only maintain their undefeated streak at the showpiece event and stretch their lead to 8-0, but to also move to the top of the points table with third win in a row.

Rahul had helped narrow the deficit with a boundary in each of the last two overs, and he remains unbeaten on 19 at the other end.
