However, her remarks have once again made her the target of trolling. Sharmin mentioned in a recent interview that she received a lot of compliments on her performance in the period drama via DMs.
Sharmin Segal’s performance in her uncle’s web series has drawn criticism from some quarters. In an interview with Pinkvilla that’s been going viral on Reddit, she said, “My DMs are filled with a lot of love.” She added, “Negativity tends to be spoken about a lot more in public because people want to talk about negative things but there’s a lot of positivity also and I need to embrace that as well.” Her remarks, meanwhile, didn’t sit well with internet users, who implied that Sharmin was ‘lying.’
