New Delhi: Chennai Super Kings (CEO) Kasi Vishwanathan said the franchise is uncertain about the use of the Uncapped Player rule to retain former captain MS Dhoni ahead of the 2025 IPL auction. The rule of thumb changed into recently confirmed by the BCCI and IPL, declaring that any capped India cricketer who hasn’t played international cricket inside of the last five years or with out a central contract, will probably be an uncapped player.
