According to a recent media report, the comedian-host has billed a bomb for each of the five programs that have already been broadcast.  As per a claim by Zee Hindustan, which was cited by DNA India, Kapil Sharma is purportedly charging an astounding Rs 26 crore for five episodes. That comes to just over Rs 5 crores every episode.

According to the same report, Sunil Grover, who reconciled with Kapil about seven years following their fight, charges an astounding Rs 25 lakh for each episode.

Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda, two other cast members, receive Rs. 10 lakh and Rs. 7 lakh, respectively, for each episode, while Rajiv Thakur charges Rs. 6 lakh. On The Great Indian Kapil Show, Archana Puran Singh reportedly receives Rs. 10 lakh every episode.

Kapil Sharma, the comedian-host went on to say that since the whole ensemble of the program is close to one another both in real life and on-screen, their return to the show is like a reunion. They all adore Archana Puran Singh, Kapil playfully continued, and he had no choice but to say as she is enslaving his housekeeper.

Sunil Grover discussed the delight when Kapil Sharma’s show became internationally popular. He said that he truly feels like he is returning home after being on the show.
