Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will contest from Budhni constituency in the state Assembly poll that will be conducted on November 17, 2023. His name appeared on the fourth list of candidates BJP released Monday.

Hours after the Election Commission of India announced the dates of polling in five states, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released the list of 57 candidates for the upcoming polls in Madhya Pradesh.

Polling in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Mizoram, Telangana will be held between November 7 and 30.

BJP’s fourth list of candidate for Madhya Pradesh polls 2023

Madhya Pradesh’s Home Minister Narottam Mishra has been fielded from Datia, while Gopal Bhargava will contest from Rehli.

Vishwas Sarang will fight the MP Assembly polls from Narela and Tulsiram Silavat to contest from Sanwer.

Here’s complete fourth candidate list released by BJP for Madhya Pradesh polls 2023

The result of 230-seat Madhya Pradesh assembly election 2023 will be held on December 3.

The BJP released its first list of candidates for the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections on August 17 which had names of 39 candidates.

The second list was released on September 25 that featured three central ministers -- Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, Minister of State (MoS) for Food Processing Industries Prahlad Singh Patel, and Minister of State for Rural Development and Steel Faggan Singh Kulatse -- and four Lok Sabha MPs.

A day later, the party announced that Monika Batti will contest from Amarwara, a seat reserved for STs. She joined the BJP after leaving the Gondwana Gantantra Party.

Of the five states going to the polls, BJP is in power in Madhya Pradesh.
