Major Bus Accident On Ambala-Delhi-Jammu Highway, 7 Killed, Over 20 Injured
Seven people died and more than 20 people were injured in a bus accident on the Ambala-Delhi-Jammu National Highway:
Ambala: At least seven people were killed and more than 20 people were injured after the mini bus they were travelling hit by a truck on the Ambala-Delhi-Jammu National Highway, Dr. Kaushal Kumar, Civil Hospital, Ambala Cantt told news agency ANI.
The accident took place near Mohra village, close to Ambala Cantt. The bus was carrying around 30 people from Uttar Pradesh who were going to the Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

According to reports, the accident occurred when the truck driving ahead of the bus suddenly slammed its brakes. The bus driver was unable to halt the vehicle in time and it rammed the truck from behind.
Police said the driver of the truck fled the scene but his vehicle has been seized. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident. Further details are awaited.
