Mithun Chakraborty to be honoured with Dadasaheb Phalke award for his ‘iconic contributions’

Legendary actor Mithun Chakraborty, known for his extensive work in Indian cinema, with a unheard of portfolio of over 270 to 300 films, will be honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award at the Seventieth National Film Awards ceremony on October eight, 2024. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Monday announced on his social media that the Dadasaheb Phalke Selection Jury has awarded legendary actor Mithun Chakraborty for his iconic contributions.
