Mr & Mrs Mahi Trailer: Rajkummar Rao-Janhvi Kapoor’s Film Rides High on Love, Emotion, Dreams And Cricket – Watch
Finally the trailer for 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi,' starring Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. The movie is slated to hit theaters on May 31, 2024.
After a long wait, the makers of Mr and Mrs Mahi have unveiled the trailer of the film. Helmed by Sharan Sharma, the movie features Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles. After watching the trailer, it is evident to realise that the movie revolves around romance, inspiring dreams, and cricket. Before the trailer release, the makers also revealed few posters, offering a glimpse of the characters played by Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.

The trailer of the sports drama begins with the budding romance between Janhvi and Rajkummar Rao. As the promo progresses, we get to see that both Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor have the same name ‘Mahi.‘ Further in the trailer, the couple was seen tying the knot. However, their lives take a U-turn when Rajkummar Rao urges his father (played by Kumud Mishra) to play cricket and his father’s denial breaks Rajkummar Rao’s dreams.
Later, when Rajkummar Rao sees Janhvi Kapoor playing cricket in full form, he requests her to pursue the sport in the professional way. In response, Janhvi also denies and tells Rajkummar that she wants to be a doctor. The rest of the trailer will give you a feeling of an emotional roller coaster ride.
Sharing the trailer, Karan Johar, who is producing the movie, wrote, “It’s MORE than just a story…it’s a journey of self-discovery, defying odds & hitting doubt out of the park when it comes to chasing YOUR dream with an imperfectly perfect partnership!”

The cast of ‘Mr. & Mrs. Mahi’ includes Abhishek Banerjee, Rajesh Sharma, Kumud Mishra, Zarina Wahab, and Purnendu Bhattacharya in prominent roles. The shooting of the film was wrapped on May 01, 2024. The movie is helmed by Sharan Sharma, known for his debut film ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl,’ starring Janhvi Kapoor. Further, Mr & Mrs Mahi is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, with support from Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta of Dharma Productions. This marks Janhvi and Rajkummar’s second collaboration after the 2021 horror thriller ‘Roohi.’
