Paris: India’s hope for a badminton gold medal on the Olympics went up in smoke after Lakshya Sen went down combating against Danish Viktor Axelsen in the males’s singles semifinals on Sunday. If Sen manages to beat Lee Zii Jia on Monday, the 22-year-historic will strengthen to be the first Indian male shuttler to win an Olympics medal.
