Prabhas and Prashanth Neel’s Salaar-Part One: Ceasefire has released in cinemas today and as expected, the collections are staggering. The action-drama has minted Rs 135 crore gross in India on day one, and the worldwide gross stands at Rs 175 crore.

Given the positive word-of-mouth of Prashanth Neel’s directorial, the collections are likely to see an upward trend over the weekend. All India advances till yesterday were around 90-95 crore. Approximately 30.5 L tickets were booked till last evening

In its review of the film, Firstpost wrote- “Director Prashanth Neel once again comes up with a riveting tale, which has all the elements of a commercial entertainer. Right from celebrating heroism to the ruggedness of characters, larger-than-life storytelling with layers of traits like betrayal, loyalty and leadership ultimately results in a compelling narrative. The editing is crisp and sharp with proper placements of emotional depth, which leaves the audience with a daunting experience.”

The review added, “However, the film gives you dejavu of the KGF franchise due to its backdrop and rawness among villains. In some scenes, it will remind you of Baahubali because of Prabhas’ persona. The setting of sequences has Game Of Thrones vibe, which adds extra appeal to its narrative.”

Earlier, the CEO Of Cinepolis, Devang Sampat shared his excitement for Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire and talked about the film saying, “We’re thrilled about the Salaar trailer featuring Prabhas and other prominent stars from the Telugu cinema industry, all under the visionary direction of the esteemed filmmaker Prashanth Neel, known for his monumental success with KGF. Anticipation for this film is soaring, indicating it’s set to be a blockbuster, not just in the South but also nationwide.”

He added, “Neel’s distinct directorial style, showcased in his previous hits, promises a compelling storyline that, combined with the pan-Indian appeal of Prabhas, is generating tremendous excitement. At Cinépolis, we’re eagerly awaiting Salaar’s release, ready to offer audiences an exceptional cinematic experience. We’re confident Salaar, under Neel’s directorial brilliance, will exceed expectations and ensure a great entertaining experience for moviegoers across India.”
