Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra returns to Instagram, says 'Karma is efficient'
Businessman Raj Kundra, who was involved in the infamous pornographic scandal of 2021, made a comeback on Instagram after two years. The 48-year-old, who will soon make his acting debut in his own biopic, was seen welcoming Lord Ganesha home. In the Instagram clip, which is now gaining traction online, the Kundra family is seen dressing Bappa as part of Ganesh Chaturthi 2023 celebrations.
The clip was paired with a strong caption. It read, “Well wishers your love makes me stronger, haters your hate makes me unstoppable!” Karma is efficient. I am just being patient.” He also wished everyone “Ganpati Bappa Morya!!!! Happy Ganesh Chaturthi.”

Raj Kundra‘s previous Instagram account
Entrepreneur Raj Kundra, who had been quite active on Instagram until his arrest in a pornography case, deleted his account in 2021 after being released on bail. He returned to Instagram later but with a clean feed.
As per reports, the businessman’s profile was changed to Binge By Bastian. This was done to promote a new outlet for a chain of restaurants co-owned by the couple.
About the case
In July 2021, Raj Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai Police for allegedly producing porn films and streaming them through an app. Not just this, he was also booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), the Indecent Representation of Women (Prevention) Act and the Information Technology (IT) Act. He was granted bail in September of the same year.
On wearing a mask in public
Raj Kundra has been spotted wearing unique masks in public since the infamous case unfolded. When asked about the reason, the entrepreneur told X users (formerly Twitter) in an Ask me anything session that he does so for the media.
He further stated that he didn’t wish to give the media a chance to click his face. The soon-to-be actor continued, “I am hurt by the media trial they put me through! Media is not above the law! #AskRaj.”
Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty’s relationship
Shilpa Shetty married Raj Kundra in 2009. The couple has two kids, Viaan and Samisha. While the duo welcomed their first child, a son in 2012, their daughter was born through surrogacy in 2020.
