Israel Hamas War Latest Update: The Israel Palestine Conflict turned into a full-fledged Israel Hamas War on October 7, when the latter fired 5000 rockets on Israel from the Gaza Strip. The war has continued for over eight months resulting in thousands of deaths on both sides and causing severe destruction. In a latest update with respect to the war, Muhammed Salah, a Hamas terrorist and key operative of the weapons manufacturing headquarters of the terrorist organisation has been killed in an Israeli airstrike, following Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) intelligence.

Key Hamas Terrorist Eliminated In Israeli Airstrike

As mentioned earlier, Israel eliminated terrorist Muhammad Salah, who was responsible for projects and development in Hamas’ Weapons Manufacturing Headquarters, the Israel Defence Forces said on Monday. The operation by Israeli Air Force came following IDF intelligence. In an official post shared on social media platform ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter), the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) said, “Last night, Air Force aircraft, under the direction of Amman and the Southern Command, killed the terrorist Muhammad Salah, who was involved in projects and development at the production headquarters of the terrorist organization Hamas.”

Who Was Muhammed Salah, Hamas Terrorist Killed In Airstrike?

In the same social media post, the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) have also elaborated on who Muhammed Salah is. The post reads, “Salah took part in a project to develop strategic weapons for the terrorist organization Hamas, and commanded several terrorist squads in the organization that were engaged in the development of IML.” The forces further said, “Also, fighter jets and aircraft attacked many terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip, including tunnel shafts, armed terrorist squads and other terrorist infrastructures.”

Israel Continues Attacks To ‘Eliminate Terrorists Who Pose A Threat’

In another news, the IDF are carrying out the “intelligence-based, targeted operations” in the Rafah area, and during targeted raids, large amounts of weapons was located by the troops. IDF also dismantled the launchers that were being used to fire at IDF troops during the war in the Tel al-Sultan area in Gaza. In addition, over the past day, IDF troops eliminated a number of armed terrorists who posed a threat to them, and the troops dismantled several tunnel shafts in the Rafah area.

IDF troops are continuing their operational activity in central Gaza. They have identified several terrorists who were operating in the area and eliminated them in a drone strike. The Israeli Air Force also struck numerous terror targets in the Gaza Strip, including tunnel shafts, armed terrorist squads, and additional terrorist infrastructure, the statement added.

‘War Will Not End…’ Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday, that Israel is prepared to pause the ongoing fight, in exchange for a partial deal for the return of hostages in Gaza, but the “war will not end” until Hamas is destroyed, according to The Times of Israel. Netanyahu added that as Israel gets ready for a possible all-out war with Lebanon’s Hezbollah, which has been stepping up its cross-border strikes on Israel, the intense battle phase in the Gaza Strip is also winding down.
