Thailand, China sign mutual visa waiver agreements
In order to promote travel and tourism between their nations, China and Thailand have decided to waive visa restrictions for each other’s citizens, according to a statement made on Sunday by Thai Foreign Minister Parnpree Bahiddha-nukara.
On March 1, the reciprocal visa exemption will go into force, according to Chinese official media CCTV.
The deal was inked when Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi was in Thailand.
