The Archies song 'Va Va Voom': Agastya Nanda does 'SRK move'; Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor join in
One of the most anticipated films of the year, Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies has come like a fresh breath of air with several new faces in the lead. After standing out with its first song ‘Sunoh’, the makers have now unveiled another striking track titled ‘Va Va Voom‘. Featuring actors Agastya Nanda along with Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor, they can be seen shaking a leg to the peppy beats of the party number. The trio were also joined by the others as they danced their hearts out at what seemed to be a carnival.
While the song creates a vibrant dance environment and will definitely take you to the 60s, what catches our attention is Agastya doing an “SRK move” as he performs a clean floor slide to welcome the two lead girls. Notably, Shah Rukh Khan did a similar slide in the Main Hoon Na song ‘Gori Gori‘.
The girls can be also seen showing off some groovy dance moves as they join the young Agastya on the dance floor. They were later joined by the other lead actors including Aditi, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, and Yuvraj Menda.
The Archies’ second song unveiled
Composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy along with the vocals of Tejas and lyrics by Javed Akhtar, the newly-released song from The Archies, Va Va Voom, seems to give a delightful feel from the 60s rock and roll era.
As the song begins, Agastya can be seen playing a guitar on the stage before going off to perform the song. The girls later join in, offering a fun dance spectacle.

Zoya Akhtar while sharing the song on Instagram wrote, “You are just so Va Va Voom! #VaVaVoom Out Now.”
Fans also got excited upon coming across the song. Many including Sonali Bendre and Shweta Bachchan dropped love reactions to the song. A user wrote, “getting hotter by the day” while another one said, “So beautiful! So elegant! Just like a va va voom!” “Maximum energy!” a third user commented.
Speaking about the film, The Archies is the Hindi adaptation of The Archie Comics. Directed by Zoya Akhtar and co-produced by her, Reema Kagti and Sharad Devarajan, the film will be released on Netflix on 7 December.
