Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 director Anees Bazmee has made a couple of a hit comedy films, including No Entry, Welcome and Singh is King. All three have prove to be memorable hits in Bollywood. Anees mentioned that while these films turned out to be Blockbusters and are as a matter of fact regarded as iconic, tons of the flicks didn’t receive positive response at the beginning. He shared the time when he became hospitalised on account of stress after Welcome received early negative reviews.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Bazmee recalled, “Once I made Welcome, people had only one complaint – that this isn’t comedy. I told them it's what I've made and I am going to’t now go and tickle people within the theatre. It will be the handiest kind of comedy I do know the style to make. I am going to’t put buffoonery, double entendre, and all. They are shortcuts and I don’t agree with in them. I agree with in writing comedy.”

For the time being, I didn’t. On top of that, there have been so lots of people linked to the film, including the financiers. So I became very stressed out. On the sanatorium bed, I reviewed my script, scene-by-scene. At the end of two days, I came to the conclusion that this works. My conviction said it's something very nice.”
Welcome became a superhit, grossing over Rs 122 crore worldwide and receiving rave reviews. Lately, it's miles regarded as a contemporary cult classic in Hindi Cinema. The film starred Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Katrina Kaif, Paresh Rawal, Feroz Khan, and Mallika Sherawat.
