Gurucharan Singh’s Father Had No Idea About His Financial Condition

Gurucharan’s father Hargit Singh said, “I had no idea about my son’s financial situation. He never told me anything about it. So I am not aware of all this. I am sure if the police have found something, they will inform me. Meri umar aisi hai ki meri tabiyat theek nahi rehti hai (My age is such that I’m not in good health). It’s been many days now and there is no positive response on this case. We are just waiting for him to come back (sic).”

The TMKOC star reportedly used the credit cards frequently. It was also revealed that Gurucharan had close to 10 bank accounts to make financial transactions. A news report published by Free Press Journal claimed that the actor withdrew a sum of Rs 14,000 from an ATM. He would reportedly use a new credit card to pay the debt on the previous one, leading to more debt eventually.

Delhi Police In Search of Gurucharan Singh

Actor Gurucharan Singh, who played Roshan Singh Sodhi in the long-running comedy Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, was the subject of a recent visit by Delhi Police to the show’s set in Mumbai according to news reports. In another development, Delhi police visited the sets of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah in Mumbai last weekend. The police tried to question Gurucharan’s former co-stars and the makers of the popular comedy show to gather more details about his emotional and financial condition. The actor worked on the SAB TV show for 10 years and parted ways with the show in 2020.

A recent report by News 18 claimed, “This week Delhi police visited our sets and spoke with the actors who were in touch with Gurucharan Singh. Everyone has co-operated well with the police. Also, there were some rumours related to Gurucharan Singh’s payments being due from the production house. But, the police found that the payment of the actor was cleared long ago (sic).”
