Mumbai: Indian cricket star Virat Kohli departed for New York to join the Indian Cricket Team for the upcoming T20 World Cup in the United States from Mumbai airport on Thursday, May 30th. As he was leaving, Kohli was surrounded by paparazzi photographers hoping to get a snap of the star. A clip was shared in which, a lot of photographers can be seen thanking Virat Kohli for the gift hampers he and Anushka Sharma sent out.
Virushka Had Sent Gift Hampers To Paparazzi’s
Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma had recently sent out gift hampers to paparazzi photographer’s thanking them for respecting their privacy and not clicking photographs of their children as the couple try and keep them away from the eyes of the media. Famous photojournalist Viral Bhayani shared a video on his Instagram page. In the clip, photographers can be seen thanking the Indian batter for the gift hampers as he entered Mumbai airport to catch his flight to New York. The former Indian captain had only this to say as he was surrounded by the grateful paparazzi- “Ma’am ne diya tha”. This translates to that the hampers were given out by Virat Kohli’s wife and Bollywood star Anushka Sharma, giving her the credit for the gift hampers.
India World Cup Campaign To Begin On 5th June
Several members of the Indian Cricket team have already arrived in the United States and begun practice for the World Cup campaign. India’s first match of the World Cup will be on 5th June as the men in blue will face off against Ireland.
