Watch: Ben Stokes runs 25 yards to take behind-the-back stunner

England captain Ben Stokes took a stunning catch to leave Shreyas Iyer shell-shocked on Day 3 of the second Test against India in Visakhapatnam. Iyer looked to be in touch before mistiming the shot and he would have been safe but for Stokes’ sublime fielding skills to get rid of the middle-order batter.

Playing against spinner Tom Hartley, Iyer got a thick outside edge as the ball spun away from him. It meant the ball travelled the distance past Stokes at mid-off. But the aerial route was enough for the England captain to scram backward, keep his eyes transfixed on tha ball and pluck it safely with a dive.

Iyer departed after scoring 29 runs from 52 balls with India 111/3 in their quest to pose a big total for the visitors who lead the series 1-0. At the time of the dismissal, India led by 254 runs.
