New Delhi: Defending champions Guyana Amazon Warriors made a thumping start to the Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League for a 1/3 successive win within the competition to catapult to the pinnacle of the table after ten games.

Warriors’ captain Imran Tahir won the toss and elected to field, along with his bowlers turning in a really good performance that dismantled the St. Lucia Kings’ batting lineup.

Gurbaz slammed three successive sixes off the next three deliveries to kill the sport.

Gurbaz’s attacking game continued as he belted Pierre for 3 more sixes within the seventh over. Though getting out, caught, after making forty seven off 19 balls, the explosive nature of his innings meant the Warriors cantered home to a straight forward win.
