Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal is gearing up for the release of his next film, Sam Bahadur. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film, which also features actresses Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh in pivotal roles, is based on the life of India’s first Field Marshal, Sam Manekshaw.
While Vicky plays the titular role, Sanya Malhotra takes on the role of Sam Manekshaw’s wife, and Fatima Sana Shaikh portrays the role of the late Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Now, with just a few days left before release, the actors are not leaving any stone unturned to promote the film. In a special surprise for fans, Vicky Kaushal and Sanya Malhotra were seen visiting the national capital as they attended a fan event to promote their film.
As a part of the promotions, both actors visited a college campus in New Delhi and entertained the fans. From interacting with fans to greeting them and clicking pictures with them, they clearly took the excitement to the next level. While hundreds of fans gathered at the event, the actors obliged them by clicking selfies, dancing with fans on stage, and engaging with all, thus creating a vibrant environment. She was also seen shouting slogans from his upcoming war-drama film while fans reacted with enthusiasm.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Vicky Kaushal expressed gratitude for all the love that he received in Delhi. In the video shared on his Instagram handle, he shows glimpses of the super-excited audience at the college campus.

Notably, it was at the GL Bajaj College in Delhi that Vicky Kaushal and Sanya Malhotra graced the event. He was also accompanied by director Meghna Gulzar. While Vicky Kaushal was dressed in a beige-coloured blazer teamed with a plain tee and black jeans, Sanya Malhotra donned a suit-pant set.
The Meghna Gulzar directorial, Sam Bahadur will release on 1 December 2023. The trailer of the film has also been unveiled.
