After 'Pathaan', 'Jawaan', 'Dunki' in 2023, Shah Rukh Khan likely to announce his 2024 line-up

Shah Rukh Khan had a dream run at the box-office with three hits in 2023- Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki. Khan was recently named the Indian of the Year Award at the CNN News 18 Indian Of The Year 2023 Awards. The actor, while receiving the award, delivered a heartfelt speech and thanked his fans and supporters. He shared he’s “grateful” for the love everyone gave to his films in 2023.

As per a report by Hindustan Times, SRK is now expected to make the announcement of his next slate for 2024. A source said, “Everyone in the industry is looking forward and are excited to know about his next step. But he is not in any hurry to sign a project. He has some scripts in his hand, but he will go through them after coming back from his break. He will come and sit and analyze what he wants to do next.”

It added, “However, one thing is certain, and it is that he is expected to announce three films in the first month of 2024 itself, and then start working on them. He has kept the genres he wants to explore a secret as he wants to surprise his audience.”

‘A reiteration of the fact that I should act’: SRK

Further, speaking on his films’ massive collections at the box office, Shah Rukh shared how people from all over the world came out to him and showed their support. “People called me from all over the world and said, ‘We wanted to come out for Jawan, Pathaan, and just be supportive of what you do as an actor’. I think this is way beyond the films. Pathaan is fantastic, Jawan is lovely, and Dunki is beautiful. It is not a comeback; it is the reiteration of the fact that I belong and that I should continue to act,” he added.
