Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra Express Solidarity Against Atrocities Happening in Palestine, Shares ‘All Eyes On Rafah’ Template

The phrase All Eyes on Rafah has taken over the internet as people in Refugee Shifting Camp in Rafah were bombarded by Israeli air strikes. In the heartbreaking incident, at least 40 Palestinians lost their lives and injured dozens in an area. Now, to express their anger and grief for those 40 people, Indian B-town celebs including Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Rashmika Mandanna, Sonakshi Sinha, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Triptii Dimri, Dia Mirza and Richa Chadha and other showed their solidarity.

Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram account and shared a story from a page called ‘the motherhood home’ and dropped the #AllEyesOnRafah. The post talked about how all children deserve “love, safety, peace and life”. On the other hand, Priyanka Chopra, who has always been targeted for remaining silent regarding the matter, also took to her Instagram account and added an “All Eyes On Rafah” template to her story.

Other actors including Varun, Kareena, Rashmika, Sonakshi, Samantha and Triptii also shared the same template to their respective accounts on social media. Richa Chadha also lashed out at those actors who are supporting Israel.

Post the disastrous accident, Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu acknowledged that a “tragic mistake” had been made. Earlier, the Israeli military claimed that their airstrike struct at Hamas compound in Rafah. The military also said that they carried out the strike with “precise ammunition and on the basis of precise intelligence.”

“Despite our utmost efforts not to harm innocent civilians, last night there was a tragic mishap,” Netanyahu said. He further added, “We are investigating the incident and will obtain a conclusion because this is our policy.”

It’s been more than 7 months ever since the war between Hamas and Israel began. Over the course of these months, thousands of Palestinians and Israelis have lost their lives.
