Amazon's Fire HD 10 Tablet Is Over 50% Off Ahead of Prime Day

We’re just a few weeks away from Prime Day 2023, as Amazon has officially set the 48-hour sale for July 11 and 12. As we’ve seen in years past, the massive online retailer doesn’t restrict deals from only posting on the actual shopping event.

Apple’s entry-level iPad has already hit the lowest price yet, Echo Buds are just $35, and now you can save over 50% on Amazon’s Fire HD 10 Tablet. It’s always stood out as an affordable tablet for streaming, browsing, and even some light gaming, but it’s an even better value at just $89.99.

Like any deal that arrives on Prime Day, you must be a Prime Member to score the Fire Hd 10 Tablet at the lowest price we’ve tracked. If you aren’t subscribed, you can sign-up for a 30-day free trial here.

Fire HD 10 Tablet, $90 (was $190) at Amazon

As the name hints, the Fire HD 10 sports a 10.1-inch 1080p Full HD screen with thick bezels all around; that’s not a bad thing, though, as it makes it easy to hold the tablet without blocking what’s on the screen. For the price, the screen provides a clear, vibrant view that is ideal for taking in video or calling with a friend. It boasts over 2 million pixels at a resolution of 1920 x 1200.

Like most other Fire tablets, asides from the Fire 11 Max, the HD 10 is made of plastic and comes in four colors: black, denim, lavender, or olive. It even charges with a USB-C port, a newer standard, and Amazon still includes a cable in the box.

It’s running a custom version of Android dubbed FireOS out of the box, and anyone in the Amazon ecosystem will be right at home. You can easily stream from Prime Video, order on Amazon, read a book on Kindle, control your smart home, and use Alexa without downloading anything else.

When it comes time to get more apps, you’ll use the Amazon App Store, and most major players are found here, including streaming services Disney+ and Netflix, music services like Spotify, and even video conferencing solutions like Zoom. It also runs plenty fast for a mid-range Android tablet thanks to a 2.0GHz Octa-Core processor with 32GB of RAM. This version, that’s discounted by 53%, comes with 64GB of internal storage, and it can be expanded further via a microSD card slot.

Amazon  (AMZN) - Get Free Report promises up to 12 hours of battery life, and it can be recharged to 100% in just four hours when you use the included power adapter. That can be sped up quite a bit if you use a third-party plug like Anker.

Lastly, two cameras are built into the Fire HD 10--a 5-megapixel camera on the rear and a 2-megapixel camera on the front-ideal for video calls.

Down to the lowest price ever at just $90, the Fire HD 10 is ideal for someone who wants a no-frills tablet that can handle video or music streaming, web browsing, video calls, and some light gaming. Prime Members can score it now on Amazon here.
