India's Advait Page has qualified for the final of the men’s 200m backstroke by clocking 2:03.01s in the heats to finish seventh. The final will take place in the evening today.

Sajan Prakash has also qualified for the men's 200m butterfly final. he finished sixth in the heats with a timing of 1:58:40s. Anish Gowda (2:05.21s) came 13th.

Aryan Nehra (3:58.18s) and Kushagra Rawat (4:01.24s) came 11th and 17th respectively in the men’s 400m freestyle heats and failed to reach the final.

Women’s 4x100m medley relay team finished ninth in the heats with a timings of 4:23.46s. They will also not take part in the final.
