Asian Games 2023: India's schedule on 24 September, time in IST, live streaming

The 2023 Asian Games was officially declared open on Saturday, after a colourful opening ceremony that witnessed a virtual torchbearer and 3D animations.

The Indian contingent was led by hockey captain Harmanpreet Singh and boxer Lovlina Borgohain, as the nation hopes to surpass their medal tally of 70 from the previous Asian Games in 2018.

Some Indians have already got their Asian Games campaigns underway. While the women’s cricket team led by Harmanpreet Kaur reached the semi-finals following a washout against Malaysia, the men’s volleyball team has exceeded expectations, reaching the quarter-finals with wins over South Korea and Chinese Taipei.
