The World Cup 2023 bandwagon is set to return to the Arun Jaitley stadium in the national captain Delhi on Wednesday with five-time champions Australia taking on Netherlands. The Netherlands are the weakest team in the tournament as per the rankings but have managed to beat South Africa so far and will look to surprise Australia. We shouldn’t forget that South Africa, who lost to the Dutch, won against Australia. However, on paper, the Australian cricket team will be firm favourites going into the match.

Before the match, we take a look at the weather forecast for Delhi on Wednesday and the expected pitch conditions for Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Delhi Weather Forecast, Australia vs Netherlands

Both as per weather.com and accuweather, the chances of rain and thunderstorm is zero on Wednesday in Delhi and the temperature should fluctuate between 31 to 18 degree Celsius. Humidity will be around 35%.

In the first match at the stadium, South Africa scored 428 and Sri Lanka got 326 in reply. In the second game, India scored 273 in just 35 overs to beat Afghanistan but England were bowled out for 215 in the second innings in the last match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. However, we must not forget that England’s collapse in this World Cup is becoming difficult to explain. The point here is that runs have come easily on the newly relaid pitches in Delhi in this World Cup so far, however, spinners have also done well. With two out of three matches being won by the team batting first, that could be the decision by whoever wins the toss on Wednesday.
