Bigg Boss 17: Ankita Lokhande opens up on her breakup with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput

The latest episode of Bigg Boss 17 saw contestants at loggerheads with each other while a few of them also made some revelations. The most intriguing revelation came from popular actress Ankita Lokhande who entered the house as a guest along with her husband Vicky Jain. The episode that began with Vicky and TV actress Aishwarya Sharma yelling at each other had Ankita recalling moments when she broke up with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

During a heartfelt conversation with Munawar Faruqui, Ankita Lokhande opened up about her struggles when she moved to Mumbai. The Manikarnika actress revealed that she was paid Rs 2000 per day while working for Pavitra Rishta.

Speaking further on her break up with Sushant Singh Rajput, the actress said that life changed overnight for her when she and the actor decided to part ways. When asked about the reason behind their breakup, she said, “I was blank. Ek raat mein chezein palti hai meri life mein.” The Baaghi 3 actress further added that her parents were also shocked and that she was trolled after the breakup. She added that she felt like taking a stand for the actor when he died and telling the world what he truly was.

Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput are loved by their fans for the characters Archana and Manav respectively as they appeared on the TV show, Pavitra Rishta. Their wonderful on-screen as well as off-screen chemistry was extremely popular and garnered them a sizable fan following. However, in 2011, the Kai Po Che actor left the show to pursue a career in Bollywood. In 2016, the couple announced their break up and ended a six-year-long relationship. The reason behind the separation was not disclosed by either of the two.

Coming back to the latest episode of Bigg Boss 17, it also saw the wildcard contestant Samarth Jurel and Abhishek Kumar indulging in an ugly fight with each other. As Abhishek confronted Isha Malviya, his ex-girlfriend, to ask how she could move on so quickly, she heaped praises on her current boyfriend Samarth. When Samarth was told about what happened between Isha and Abhishek, he lost his calm and started abusing him.
