Kim Taehyung, also known as V from BTS, effortlessly pulls off any outfit, including a stark all-black military uniform. Currently engrossed in his mandatory military service, Taehyung sparked a social media frenzy when pictures of him during a combat training session went viral. He had earlier admitted to gaining weight in a Weverse encounter with ARMY, but he looked strong, making him ideal for his special duty assignments. At a Chuncheon event, the K-pop star was observed patrolling about. He encountered a senior who at first didn’t recognize him in his uniform but subsequently complimented him on his gentlemanly demeanor.
In the viral photos, the ‘Singularity’ hitmaker is seen in an all-black outfit with only his eyes visible, as his mouth is covered. Despite this, his striking appearance captivated fans. Fans were left speechless by how striking Kim Taehyung looked in his uniform.

According to All-Kpop, the images of V were from a promotional video for the 2nd Army Corps in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province. Taehyung had successfully passed an exam to enlist in the Special Task Force of the Army Capital Defense Command in 2023 and has been serving as a special member of the military police unit in the 2nd Army Corps.
Earlier, the singer thrilled fans by sharing pictures of his bare back and the wounds he sustained during his military service on April 11. He wrote, “Army, how are you all? I work out regularly and wear cool clothes. The training has been going great. I came out for a short break and spoke to my friends about you. I weigh 75 kg now, thanks to a hard workout. My troopers are feeling great. I have to work harder and I will. Bye!” On WeVerse, Taehyung also uploaded a photo showing his bare back, with visible wounds, captioned ‘wound of glory.’
Currently, BTS is on hiatus as all members fulfil their mandatory military service requirements.
