These include the North Arabian Sea, Gujarat, certain divisions of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, West Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and the regions of Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, along with Punjab.

“Southwest Monsoon further advanced into some more parts of West Rajasthan, remaining parts of East Rajasthan, some parts of Haryana, entire Delhi, some more parts of West Uttar Pradesh; remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar and some more parts of East Uttar Pradesh,” the weather department stated.

The beneficial shift is anticipated to extend to more regions of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Chandigarh, Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu in the upcoming two to three days.

Meanwhile, the weather department has also forecasted light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms over east and northwest parts of the country during the next five days.
