Sunburn Goa announces its 17th edition with the theme of 'Enchanted Forest' for 2023

Percept Live, creators of Asia’s biggest electronic dance music festival, Sunburn have officially announced the 17th edition of their world-class annual extravaganza. With an underlying theme of ‘Enchanted Forest’, the annual festival will showcase a remarkable four-day live event imbibing the best of electronic dance music, state-of the-art technology and high-octane entertainment.

Hosted within the province of Goa, the festival has found its home within Vagator, where attendees can expect an indulgence of top-tier talent, a host of immersive entertainment activities and a tailored carnival experience.

Symbolizing the mystery and freedom of the wilderness, ‘Enchanted Forest’ is billed as being the most complex audio/visual design and lighting system ever to illuminate the skies of Vagator. Incorporating wishing wells and giant toadstools with life-sized animals, mammoth fairies and colossal flowers, the festival’s theme this year will entail a heady mix of vibrant earthy elegance and ancient folklore. Taking influences for Mayan and Aztec art and using a neon theme for homogeneity, the festival will entail stunning graffiti and installation art.

With an estimated 300K attendees expected set to flood into the venue over the course of December 28-31, Sunburn Goa will host over 150+ international and homegrown acts and readily offer an influx of activities like amusement rides, camping, after-parties, adventure zones and an F&B village. In working towards creating an unforgettable experience, the founding team has promised 7 unprecedented themed stages.

While placing a heavy emphasis on the lineup curation, Sunburn Goa dually focuses on hosting a vast selection of artistry, along with creating outstanding, inaugural experiences within Asia’s dance music community.
