Alia Bhatt Deepfake: Alia Bhatt is the most recent celebrity who fell prey to Deepfake after Rashmika Mandanna, Katrina Kaif, Kajol, Ranveer Singh and Aamir Khan. The original video, which featured Wamiqa Gabbi, was shared on April 27 from her official Instagram account. It was later deepfaked with Alia Bhatt’s face. In the video, the ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi‘ actress wore a red saree with a matching bold blouse. The caption on the video reads, “Aliabhatt off screen,” with sparkle and red heart emojis.

Alia Bhatt’s fans reacted to her morphed video on social media. One of the users wrote, “This is the actual video of Wamiqa Gabi. They replaced it with Alia’s face using AI.” Another user said, “Is this legal?? You’re using Alia’s face.” The third user wrote, “How this possible @aliaabhatt.” Many tagged the actress and expressed their concern.
The actress had a similar occurrence for the second time in November 2023, when her look was altered to appear on the face of another lady. Deepfake films have also been used to target other politicians and celebrities.
