Dunki Box-Office: Shah Rukh Khan-Rajkumar Hirani's film collects approx. Rs 30 crore on day one

Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani’s film Dunki that released on December 21, has opened at the box-office with an approximate collection of Rs 30 crore. This is the 6th biggest opening of the year after Jawan, Animal, Pathaan, Gadar 2, and Tiger 3. The film also stars Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu, and Boman Irani.

Hirani’s earlier films Sanju and PK had opened to around Rs 34 and Rs 26 crore respectively.

In its review, the portal wrote- “In many a places, I felt that SRK was trying too hard to play the young Hardy Singh. The salt and pepper look was suiting Shah Rukh Khan and his older version was much more impressive than the younger Shah Rukh. Looks like King Khan tried too hard to keep up to his star status after ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawaan’.”
