Ektaa Kapoor reunites with her 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' actor Smriti Irani; shares fun moments on Instagram

Television producer Ektaa Kapoor is known for sharing a very strong bond with actress-turned-politician Smriti Irani. The two have been close friends for several years now and are often present at each other’s special occasions. Ektaa who shares a very great bond with the Union Minister had cast her Smriti Irani in one of her popular shows, ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’. That being said, the producer-actor duo once again reunited and were seen spending some quality time together at a brunch in Delhi. Ektaa Kapoor while taking to her Instagram handle, shared a few videos from their brunch, showing that the two were enjoying desserts at a restaurant.

While the videos show Ektaa talking about having desserts, she also shared a picture of herself posing with Smriti Irani.

In the video Ektaa shares that Smriti is not eating the desserts, while it is her who is enjoying it a lot, while calling herself fat and Smriti Irani fit. Amid all of this, the union Minister can be seen smiling in the background. The video also shows three servings of desserts on their table.

“Yeh bahut patle ho gaye hai toh hum inhe iss khaane se mota karne ki koshish kar rahe hai. Par ho nahi raha hai. Inka face dekho, patla ho gaya hai. Yeh fit lag rahe hain. Yeh aaj khayenge mere saath (She has become very lean, so I am trying to make her fat with these dishes. Just look at her face; she looks lean and fit. Now, she will eat all these with me,” Ektaa can be heard saying in a video.

Ektaa Kapoor also shared another picture of herself posing with her friend-cum-colleague. While the producer is dressed in a black outfit, Smriti Irani donned a yellow-orange coloured saree.

For the unversed, Smriti Irani made her TV debut with the Ektaa Kapoor show in 2000. One of the popular shows to have aired on Indian television, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi ran from 2000 to 2008. The show revolved around the Virani family, where Irani played the lead role of Tulsi Virani.
