Bad Newz is an upcoming comedy film that promises to deliver laughs and surprises in equal measure. Starring Vicky Kaushal, Ammy Virk and Tripti Dimri, the film is inspired by true events. Bad Newz centres around an extraordinary biological phenomenon known as ‘heteropaternal superfecundation’, a rare occurrence that happens when two separate eggs are fertilized by sperm from two different men during the same menstrual cycle, leading to twins with different fathers. Such cases are extremely rare, with only a handful documented worldwide.

The three-minute trailer introduces us to Saloni (Triptii Dimri), who finds herself in this unique situation. She discovers she is pregnant with twins from two different fathers, Akhil (Vicky Kaushal) and Gurbir (Ammy Virk). This bizarre and unexpected twist sets the stage for a series of comedic and heartwarming events.

As the story unfolds, we see the dynamics between Saloni, Akhil, and Gurbir. Akhil and Gurbir’s reactions to the news are nothing short of hilarious, and their interactions with each other bring a Tom-and-Jerry-like charm to the trailer. Ammy Virk’s quick wit and comedic timing shine through, especially in moments where he playfully competes with Vicky Kaushal. Two standout moments from the trailer include a reference to Vicky’s performance in Manmarziyaan and a scene where Vicky humorously protects a photo of Katrina Kaif from Ammy.
