Elon Musk Announces Tesla Will Have Two New Exciting Products Soon

Tesla continues to pursue new technology and its latest products could be coming soon, according to Elon Musk.

Speaking at the 2023 Tesla Annual Shareholder’s Conference, Musk teased that the company would be launching two new products.

“There are two new products that I think you’ll be very excited about,” Musk said. “Both the design of the products and the manufacturing techniques are head and shoulders above anything else that is present in the industry.”

One was a product most had already known -- the human-like Tesla robot called Optimus. Musk played a short video with showcased examples of the robot doing day-to-day tasks like picking up items and cracking eggs.

The video said the goal is for the product to perform more “increasingly complex tasks.”

The second product seemed to be another vehicle to join Tesla’s successful line of electric vehicles. Musk didn’t reveal much about the specs of the product except to show a picture of the vehicle’s silhouette.

Given the success of Tesla’s other vehicles -- including the company announcing during the conference that the Model Y is Q1 2023’s best selling non pick-up vehicle -- there is sure to be a lot of speculation as to what other vehicles Tesla can put within its line.

Musk said the products should see a more formal release in the future.

“People always want to know what our next product is, but this is not the time,” Musk said. “We obviously need to have a proper, dedicated product launch. I just want to emphasize that we are actually building a new product.”
