Bhumika Bahl’s Journey From The Begining…

Bhumika Bahl tells india.com that before becoming a makeup artist, she was working in the big 4-EY as a financial auditor. She started her job as an Associate and left as a Senior Financial Auditor. The M.Com. professional shares that somewhere as a kid, she always wanted to become a makeup artist but her family suggested that she complete her education first. Bhumika shares that she didn’t plan to make this big transition from being a financial auditor to being a makeup artist but she took this “risk” she says, thinking that if it didn’t work out, with her education and previous experience, she would always have the backup of going back to her previous company or persuade teaching.

Bhumika Bahl’s Secret Mantra of Overnight Success

Gathering fame in a short time, Bhumika shares her secret formula for overnight success. Bhumika Bahl shares that she was always very clear about her niche. “Agar niche ki bhaut clearity ho apko, I think every content creator will work out”(If one is clear about their niche, every content creator will work out”.

Talking about competition, Bhumika shares that the industry has become very saturated with every third person being a content creator. Bhumika shares that the industry will not see any dip, it will only grow with better opportunities. Bhumika shares that being consistent, authentic, and following trends is the key to striving and ensuring that your content shines amongst others.

Bhumika Bahl on Social Media Trolling

Bhumika Bahl shares that trolling and negative comments have taken a toll on her mental health, however, she has found a way to deal with it. Bhumika says that if the criticism is constructive and productive, she would consider it, however, for people who repeatedly write negative comments, she mutes and blocks them. “Repetitive negativity is not coming my way at all”, she shares. Speaking about the trolling and parody from people from the industry, Bhumika says that she wishes them better mental health “I will pray to go for their health, physical, mental, health”, she says. Bhumika also highlights that sharing and venting out to friends also makes it easier to cope with such negativity, Bhumika also shares that she persuades her students and other creators dealing with trolling to find comfort in therapy.

Speaking more about her personal life and the new phase of life – motherhood, Bhumika shares that her goals and aspirations in life are not only limited to her dreams but also to her son – Kabir.
