Fans recall 'Aditya Kashyap Era' after Shahid Kapoor shares new pics with Jab We Met song
Shahid Kapoor is presently gearing up for his first release of this year with the upcoming film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, alongside Kriti Sanon. At a time when the actor remains completely busy with the promotional activities of his film, he has got the fans talking, however, for a very different reason. The actor, while taking to his social media handle, shared a picture of himself along with background music that left fans nostalgic. Shahid seemingly took a ride down memory lane and treated fans with his charming pictures, accompanied by his iconic song ‘Tum Se Hi’ from his 2007 hit film ‘Jab We Met’.
Pictures initially shared on the actor’s Instagram stories show him pulling off a cool and casual look. He is dressed in a stylish ensemble featuring a black shirt and pants paired with a light grey blazer further sporting a new look with the well-groomed buzz cut and beard.
Exuding charisma and sparking nostalgia, Shahid’s charming expressions got fans to recall his ‘Aditya Kashyap era’ as he poses in the backdrop of a picturesque garden shed.
He also shared the pictures on an Instagram post with a “Happy Sunday” caption. Many took to the comment section and recalled affectionate memories of Aditya Kashyap and the Jab We Met. A user wrote, “Bro acted so good that people think this guy and Aditya kashyap are two different personalities,” while another one wrote, “Jab we meet era of shahidkapoor is unmatchable.”
Some also couldn’t help but draw parallels between his expressions and the moments from Jab We Met with comments like “These pictures give “tum se hi din hota hai” vibes only”, “We’re still in love with Aditya kashyap,” etc.

It has been nearly 17 years since Imtiaz Ali’s Jab We Met was released. While it initially received a very tepid response, the film went on to become a comfort film for all generations. Featuring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles, the film has enjoyed cult status to date and is counted among their best films together.

Sharing the screen for the first time with Kriti Sanon, Shahid will also be seen acting alongside veterans like Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia.
