Govinda’s wife Sunita visits him in hospital, says ‘Aaj sir…’ – Video

On Wednesday morning, actor Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, visited Criticare Hospital to examine on her husband, who suffered a bullet injury to his leg from his revolver. Speaking to the media, Sunita provided an update on Govinda’s condition, mentioning that he is doing “better” and is anticipated to be discharged in two days. “He is making improvements to. This day, we can move him to the regular ward. He is in significantly better condition than the day before this and can be discharged the day after tomorrow. With every person’s blessings, he has made a fine recovery. He has an unlimited fan following, and I assure every person now no longer to stress—he is okay,” she shared.

The incident took place around four:Forty 5 am on Tuesday when Govinda’s licenced revolver by accident discharged while he became putting it back within the cupboard, consistent with Mumbai Police. He became making ready to leave for Kolkata at the time.

Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, told ANI over the phone, “Govinda became just about leave for Kolkata and became putting his licenced revolver back within the cupboard when it slipped from his hand, and the gun went off, hitting him within the leg. The doctor has removed the bullet, and his condition is stable. He continues to be within the clinic.”

Hours after the incident, Govinda, in an audio message, thanked the doctor who treated him and his well-wishers.

“Hello, it truly is Govinda. With the blessings of my fans, my parents and God, I'm doing better now. I was hit by a bullet, which has now been removed. I thank the doctor here, Dr Agarwal ji. I thank all of you to your prayers,” Govinda said in Hindi within the audio message.

Soon after learning about the incident, director David Dhawan and veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha came to the clinic to inquire about Govinda’s health.
