Gurucharan Singh Missing for 11 Days: Police Suspect ‘Planned’ Disappearance

Fans and family of Gurucharan Singh, famously known for his role as Sodhi in the beloved show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, are deeply worried as the actor has been missing for 11 days. His father filed a complaint with the Delhi Police, leading to a kidnapping case being registered. Delhi Police have formed multiple teams to track Singh’s whereabouts. However, recent updates from police sources suggest a twist in the case. It’s suspected that Gurucharan Singh may have ‘planned’ his own disappearance. According to police, Singh left his phone in the Palam area before vanishing. This complicates the search efforts, as it indicates that the phone, a crucial clue, is not with the actor. CCTV footage shows Gurucharan Singh moving between different e-rickshaws, indicating a premeditated plan to leave Delhi.

Delhi Police sources told News18 Showsha, “He left his phone in the Palam area. We are trying to find but it only makes it more difficult for us to trace Gurucharan Singh, because this means that the phone is not with the actor. In the CCTV footage we recovered that he was seen moving from one e-rickshaw to another. Looks like, he had planned everything and has moved out of Delhi.”

According to the complaint filed by his father, Gurucharan, aged 50, was suppose to reach Delhi airport to catch Mumbai flight, but failed to reach his destination or return home. His phone has remained unreachable, adding to the distress of his family. Gurucharan’s father said that his son is mentally stable, raising concerns over his sudden disappearance.

The investigation is ongoing, with authorities working tirelessly to unravel the mystery behind Gurucharan Singh’s disappearance. His friends from the industry continue to hope for his safe return. TMKOC stars including Jennifer Mistry, Samay Shah and Mandar Chandwadkar and TV producer Asit Modi have also expressed concern over his disappearance, hoping him to return home soon.
