Nawazuddin Siddiqui has made several cinematic contributions to Indian cinema. The actor is well-known for playing various roles in Gangs of Wasseypur, Bombay Talkies, Dev D, Black Friday, and Kick, among others. He is occupied with promoting ‘Rautu Ka Raaz,’ his latest movie. Did you know that Nawazuddin Siddiqui was a watchman before becoming a well-known actor? Because of this, admirers thought he came from a home that wasn’t financially stable. The actor recently stated that this was untrue and that his family was well-off. Nawazuddin said he didn’t want to rely on his family’s financial support, so he got that job.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui Didn’t Take Money From Family

He opened up about his difficulties, saying that although he didn’t come from a low-income family, he chose to work as a watchman instead of taking money from them. Nawazuddin disclosed that his family was never financially struggling, and despite this, he supported himself by working as a Chowkidaar.

Speaking to Shubhankar Mishra in an interview, he said, “Meri shakal soorat aisi thi, main gareeb toh nahi tha (My face is like that, but I was never poor. That’s because I would not take money from home. There was money at home always, thoda bohot paisa tha (it was manageable)… but I didn’t want to take money from my family because I was doing a job of my choice (acting) without even telling them.”

He went on to say that because he was pursuing his passion and hadn’t told his family about it, he had looked for any means to make money. He went on to say that he turned down money offers from his relatives. “My parents were always ready to give me money, they’d say, ‘kuch problem ho toh le le (if you have problems, take money from us). You aren’t asking for any money and we don’t even know what you are doing, ” Nawazuddin further added.

Regarding his professional life, Nawazuddin Siddiqui starred in the crime thriller ‘Rautu Ka Raaz.’ Along with Atul Tiwari, Rajesh Kumar, and Narayani Shastri, the film is a criminal mystery drama. Anand Surapur is the director, and Umesh Kr Bansal, Zee Studios, Phat Phish Records, and Chintu Srivastava are the producers. Zee5 will start broadcasting it on June 28.
