Reeza Hendricks: Nice to get out there and get some time in the middle and contribute as well as I did. Obviously would have loved to score a century, but I will take the contribution at the end. Nice batting with Aiden, we knew that the partnership at that time was to set up a good innings. Unfortunately, both of us got out at the wrong time. We needed one of us to push hard and be there at the end. We would have posted a bit of a better score. We were thinking at least 285. 300 was definitely on the cards had one of us batted through (till the end). They bowled well at the end, not easy as it's a tricky wicket, and not it will not be easy for the new batter coming in.

An excellent effort by the Indian bowlers at the death has ensured that South Africa end well short of 300. The Proteas could score only 57 runs in the last 10 overs after that twin breakthrough of Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen. The duo threatened to take the bowlers to cleaners, but Indian spinners dismissed them in back-to-back overs and South Africa could never come back from the setback. Even David Miller could not get going as he scored 35 off 34 deliveries, scoring only at run-a-ball.
India's run chase in a while. But the surface will not be easy to bat on, considering the humid conditions. If dew plays a role, it will surely assist India. Otherwise, we are in for a mouth-watering chase!
