IndiGo flight from Ranchi to Delhi cancelled due to technical reasons; authorities issue apology

New Delhi: Indigo Airlines issued an apology to the passengers of the Ranchi-Delhi flight as they were held up within the aircraft for two hours after the flight became delayed brought on by a technical issue on September 15. The Flight 6E 5024 (Ranchi-Delhi) became to start up with set to depart at 8:40 PM but became delayed for around three hours brought on by technical issues. The passengers were made to remain seated for two long hours, and at eleven.40 PM, they were asked to deboard the plane.

Later, it became announced that the flight 6E 5024 from Ranchi to Delhi became cancelled on September 15 brought on by technical reasons. “The aircraft will likely be back in operations after necessary maintenance. Flyers were supplied with refreshments, refunds, and alternate flight options. IndiGo apologizes for the inconvenience caused to the customers,” a statement from the airline read.

On September 15, IndiGo flight 6E 1303 traveling from Mumbai to Doha became also cancelled, a spokesperson said. The statement from the airlines read, “IndiGo flight 6E 1303 operating from Mumbai to Doha became delayed brought on by a technical reason. Our airport team in an instant provided assistance to the affected customers and provided refreshments and necessary arrangements.”

“The aircraft tried to depart for its destination a couple of times but had to at last be often known as off brought on by extended time lag by reason of greater than some procedural delays. The shoppers are being provided hotels and are being rebooked as per their final destination. IndiGo sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience caused to its customers,” it said.

As per the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), incessant rainfall has been lashing Jharkhand for the past two days, brought on by which Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow in Jamshedpur on Sunday became also cancelled.
